JaykoIt all started when a friend and I left the biggest town on the face of the continent. Though, not for the reason you may think. It was because we were framed for stealing 100g. When my friend, RhobeWhis and I, Jayko ran away, we noticed a creepy forest with a sign of skulls and crossbones. The Symbol of Death. I realized we had our weapons, because we were going to start our adventuring very soon.We were lucky to have it on us at all.I had basic steel armor from the adventurer shop at my old town, and a battle axe, made finely from the blacksmith there. My friend, RhobeWhis, had some enchanted robes, with Magic Empowerment, yet, he relied on hand spells more than any battle staff. In which, we charged into the "Cursed Forest."Immediately, we ran into some enemies, a skeleton and two green slimes. The green slimes were small and gelatinous. They were seemingly blood thirsty, as they looked out in search of fresh meat to torture for no reason. I ran in headfirst straight into danger recklessly.I dashed and slashed the skeleton and hit him with a powerful attack, it was useful to be a barbarian. The rib-cage of the skeleton was slashed off and was detrimental to his structure and stability. He fell down and I followed up with a powerful slash to finish him off as RhobeWhis ran back preparing to attack. He staggered back and collapsed into a pile of bones as RhobeWhis attacked a slime with a weak fireball with help from his powerful eyes. This was a natural evolution from his family being mostly magic shooters for sport. and it dealt some damage, but, the slime may have been on his last legs, but he became a fire slime which looked bigger and heavier. It attacked me using a fireball at me and dealt concerning damage to me. I ran forward and went for a slash. As my slash landed, it killed the slime, and the other looked in terror. It was actually scared of us!I went in to finish the first one, and so did RhobeWhis. We killed it before it could try to escape. I already felt the weight of fatigue crash like a wave on me.I saw a house and an interesting glowing tree and then I whispered to RhobeWhis, with lungs being on fire, "Let's go left, I see a house, and a weird glowing tree! It will be better than more slimes, plus, we could potentially find treasure in that house."RhobeWhis responded, chuckling lightly, "No rest for the weary, huh?"We quickly dashed forward as I saw something on the ground. A cloak raised up by a magical book. I told RhobeWhis quickly, "Ooh! There's a book and a cloak on the floor. It seems like the book has magical runes in it. I'll grab it!"RhobeWhis responded, "Fascinating! Tell me what you learn from it when you get a chance."I opened them and looked for a second, then put them in my infinite pockets. when I saw RhobeWhis leaving, I followed. This is the start of a legendary adventure.RhobeWhisAs Jayko ran through and picked the books up brazenly, we headed out to the house. The house was hardly 10 meters away so we arrived extremely quickly. When we got closer, it became clear that the house was very aged.Moss grew on the walls, vines intruding the ceiling and the roots through the floor.  The house looked normal but, I had a feeling that the room had more to it.Jayko spotted something immediately after we entered, showing his perception. A creak went through the ancient floorboards. I had a good feeling about us adventuring. Then, I spotted what he had seen. A trap door behind the ragged, yet potentially expensive couch.I asked, "What did you see Jayko?"Jayko threw it aside and had the couch break into splinters. As he did, I walked closer, and I climbed down the hidden ladder under the mossy secret trapdoor. As we did, I climbed down slowly and used a sphere of light on the area.It was now lit up dimly but dark enough to make someone tell you to stop reading in the dark. As I went down, I caught sight of an odd sight, a mild perturbance to the area. There were more foes.A small, but smaller in strength, baby slime. (Not considered having power at all) Accompanied by a mother slime, (Pretty powerful) it attacked by launching a small amount of gel. As it hit, Jayko leapt down, taking the recoil through his muscular legs, and durable body. Then, after reading the situation, he cast a shine of bright light abruptly. As he did, I thought of two possible options of what happened to him automatically it worried me.Either he used an extremely powerful spell or attack and failed, which was most likely, or, he used a spell and successfully used it at a high level of situational proficiency.I figured the first one as it showed more light, I realized he would be nearly dead, if that truly happened. I tried to think optimistically, but I did not want that to happen.JaykoThe flash that came from me was almost intoxicating. The spell I used was a challenging, but intense spell. It was called Taming. The spell tames an opponent until you use it on a different enemy and succeed. So, I succeeded, it would have been 1 in a million to get that lucky! The flash made the baby slime come up to my side and make a loyal and friendly 'blurble' at me. I had a good feeling about my choice, but got back to the other enemies ahead. RhobeWhis used a fire-ball to destroy another baby slime and the mother slime was left. The mother slime annoyingly made 5 more slimes. All 5 used giant globs of spit and sent them to me, and I was hit, and slowed significantly.RhobeWhis yelled, "Gel is very flammable, so I'll use fireballs, and hope to defeat them all. If we deal with all of the baby slimes it makes, it will slowly get smaller, so we just need to hold on."I looked at the mother slime. He was right! It got far smaller than it used to be. The other slimes tried to gang up on my slime. I tried to attack 2 of them, but they took the attacks with life still in them. RhobeWhis used two icicles, I assumed that he couldn't because my slime could die from the attacks. One of the icicles killed a slime, and the other damaged it. I ran toward my slime, with my move planned, I would use my slime as the grip when I do a forward cartwheel, and get across the slimes and save my slime at the same time."Heck," I thought, "I could probably get that gel off during this."My slime must have known my idea, because it turned its top into two big handles.I executed my plan, starting by running, and I tried to cartwheel, but my hands slipped and I couldn't touch the handles. But... My slime grabbed on me, and I still succeeded. Then, RhobeWhis used a fireball to kill all of them in a large burst of flames. The baby slime went up and got the left over gel from the big attack. It grew to nearly twice the size and became more confident. It tackled the mother slime as I slashed downward and we finished it swiftly. When we walked forward into the next room, there were two gold and diamond chests, with a dragon hunter seal on it, and I shouted in joy, "Already? this is great!"RhobeWhis replied, "Yeah! I wonder what's in there!"I opened the chest on the right, and I saw a javelin, with a ruby tip and gold handle, the other item in there was an eye, of some sort, wrapped up in gold plating and diamond writing, saying "Eye of Time-Stop." RhobeWhis opened the other chest and got a bunch of potion materials when a loud click echoed through the room.RhobeWhisWhen the click echoed through the room, the sound of gushing water came surrounding us. The intense amount of water in the room was filling fast. There were small vents with a green fog filling the water slowly. I felt that it would slightly sting, so, Jayko leapt up and caught the ladder's rung.As he tried to push something out of the way, he yelled, "There is a boulder in the way, but, I can't push it out, we might need to use the baby slime. Use strength on it, I know you haven't mastered it and it has a long time in between uses, but we might die! Use it!"I protested, "No it's too risky, I can't do it reliably, and the time in between uses... If I fail..."Jayko replied, "DO YOU WANT TO DIE? STOP AND DO IT, IT WILL BE FINE AS LONG AS WE HAVE ANOTHER PLAN! WE'LL USE IT ON ME! OR THE SLIME WILL HOLD ME UP! SO DO IT, PLEASE!"I grimaced, but decided to still do it because Jayko was actually terrifying at that same moment and scared me intensively. I recoiled, then used strength. The move caused a slam of energy on the slime, and some goofy gel eyebrows to go with, indicating the strength effect on the slime. The slime seemingly went and permeated then went through the boulder at the tiny gaps between the rock. It got through and pushed as hard as it could, implying it was too heavy, but, the slime succeeded and pushed it out of the way with the intense strength I gave him. I smiled, my spell was powerful. As we exited the room, with the room halfway full of toxic water, I looked out and frowned in terror, a glowentree appeared, attacking us with intense anger. Why? Because, a giant had stomped on its territory and the glowentree thought we did that destruction. There were giant footprints everywhere. Here and there, there and here, and somewhere over there, even. It glowed brightly, and began preparing a move called bark shot I had a bad feeling about this.SlimeBlurble! Blurble, Blurble. Blurble! As the scary monster dashed at us menacingly, he looked scary though the strength effect was on, but, the bark hit Jayko, blurble! It was scary, because I, for some reason feel loyal to Jayko, so I dashed and hit the Glowentree brazenly, feeling like Jayko! The glowentree was just a tree, but its bark shot dealt much damage to Jayko, he was bleeding! The glowentree stepped back in pain from my attack as a twig fell off from the attack.I dashed into him again and again, but he must have used a bark shield, so I changed sides as RhobeWhis shot a fireball, blurble. Jayko got up from the hit, and charged in brazenly, as I realized his personality was affecting me.Jayko ran in and yelled, "I looked at the book, just for a little bit, so I learned only one move. But it will do! Smouldering slash!" The Glowentree was now on fire, blurble. I used the full power of my strength to tackle so hard, the tree would fall!I called it, "blurb, blurble...blurb!"The glowentree nearly fell at this final move, as the flames engulfed the monster. It, in an angry rage, used a move to grab me and send me into the ground, blurble. As it did, it used a trunk slam on Jayko, hitting him making him bleed again. It sent a volley of splinters that stuck inside me and hurt Jayko and his friend blurble. They frantically tried to avoid the splinters, with Jayko swinging his axe to block the attacks, and RhobeWhis trying to make a magical shield to block. They both dodged and blocked some of the attacks. Then, the beast used a scary move, smacking RhobeWhis with the stump of the beast and sending him flying back 10 feet into a tree. RhobeWhis still, managed to send a fireball to make it recoil as Jayko attacked again. It landed, but, the glowentree hit him with all of its might and Jayko fell to the ground. Then, he suddenly tried to get up, but root bindings trapped him.I was trapped by a root prison that came from the beast. I frantically tried to escape the bindings, but it would take too long to squeeze through.I felt saddened, and angered for that attack toward Jayko, blurble. No more! I came up with an idea! I went upward through the tiny cracks in the dirt, and escaped the underground root prison, but it was not easy, blurble! But then I dashed and used an even more powerful attack.I now call it, "blurble, blurble, blurble"It shattered the bark shield and knocked the powerful glowing tree down, it wouldn't get up.I felt relieved and excited for the move to succeed so well, so I yelled, "BLURBLER!"JaykoI walked forward and conversed with RhobeWhis, while still being exhausted, "I think that boulder was from the giant."I suddenly felt another wave of fatigue with a new hint of nausea.RhobeWhis replied, "I agree, but what about the glowentree? You think that would be the cause, or a trap for going down there?"I replied, "No, the glowentree would have not attacked until it saw we were visible, so that's out of the question. It couldn't be a trap, because there was no boulder readily nearby."RhobeWhis retorted, "I like the theory of the giant but, why are you so smart, you're a barbarian you know."I replied with a smug grin, "Because I'm cultured. Besides, aren't you supposed to be really smart, maybe smart enough for both of us?"RhobeWhis replied, with a scowl, "How many aphorisms do you have in your stores there?"I smiled and replied, "A lot more."RhobeWhis retorted, "Wow, you may be dumber than you think."I rolled my eyes, sarcastically. We went all the way to a large clearing with the giant in front of a pile of trees.RhobeWhis yelled, "Giant!"The giant threw a log at me, and I slashed it in half with a smouldering slash. It seemed RhobeWhis was formulating something. The giant threw another log at RhobeWhis, but, he used a quick magical shield.RhobeWhis, told me, "Let's burn him with the pile of trees in the middle. You light it. I'll get him there and weakened."The giant threw a boulder at me, which I slashed, which made me weaponless until I could get it out, but I realized, I had my javelin. That had to be enough.I ran forward and threw the ruby-tipped javelin, which to my surprise, burst into flames and it changed the trajectory toward the giant which made it land straight on the head where I meant to hit it, but would have missed. The flames roared on the head, and the giant was bleeding constantly. The fireball I was waiting on from RhobeWhis finally fired, as the slime pet I tamed hit the giant to finally knock him over. The trees burst into fire, and were now raging on the toppled giant. But he wasn't done. If he were to die, he would try to take us down with him.He launched a bunch of logs toward us, with the utmost anger. We leapt, dodged sliced and blocked those logs skillfully, but we were even more tired now.The giant, as a last resort, used a near tree to slash just above the ground, but, half-way through the attack, the attack ended. The flames had consumed the giant to the tipping point. He collapsed and the thud echoed throughout the endless trees.I grabbed my javelin, and I put it in my infinite pocket. I also grabbed a couple of giant ribs that were left and not ash.I told RhobeWhis, "Let's move on."We traveled further and went to the nearby path just outside of the cursed forest, and we got on to the path along the way, I said to RhobeWhis "That's the start of our journey I guess."He replied, "I'm sorry it got off to such a bad start, but we survived, didn't we?"We looked off into the distant sun, along with the countless non-visible towns we would eventually find. The beginning of the beginning.

JaykoAs we traveled, I, at our breaks, were writing about the enemies we fought, and were looking at them and traveling for long distances, over 10 miles an hour for 6 hours. We had traveled a quarter across the continent without any signs of civilization except ever once in a while when we saw some traveling traders showing their abundance of materials and steels. We only bought 5 oranges on our adventures. Before I continue, there was a strong creature out along a ridge, a very powerful one. It was a frogdon. These are incarnations of earth. An angry spirit lives inside, trapped until the frogdon's death. We had to fight it. I won't say much, except we beat it, we struggled to break the rock, and we took a couple hits.So then, we went on, until, about shunin the 22nd, (May) and we saw, on our journeys that there was a celebration at a petite town at the edge of a hill. The odd thing, though, was that the time was midnight. A small child walked up to me, almost at a waddle."Welcome to the Midnight Full Moon Festival! You c-can trade f-for items and b-buy some f-fun items that y-you can b-buy nowhere else!"I told RhobeWhis, "Let's sell our potion materials. We don't need them."He contorted, "We could use the gold, it costs 100-1000 for a spell."I said, "Let's look for a place selling dragon scales!"I heard a voice call, loudly, "You're looking for a place to sell dragon scales? I'm just the place!"We walked forward and looked at his large expanse of scales. He had ice, fire, and even psychic dragon scales. He shouted excitedly, "I've got the rarest scales on the continent! Everything from psychic dragon scales, to the acid hydra scales. I bought them for over 100g a piece!"I had a feeling that this was a lucky find. He was selling single scales for 150g each. "I think we should sell here," said RhobeWhis, as his jaw dropped at the price of the scales. I knew what he was thinking. The more he sells them for, the more he buys for them.I said to the shopkeep, selling the scales, "How much for a scale?"He replied, "145g."I looked at the price of his dragon scales, being 150g."148g, take it or leave it, don't you try to pry our money."He replied, "Fine, 148g a piece. How many?"I replied, "We have 5 ice dragon scales."He said, "740g in total, eh? You got it."I handed him the scales as he handed me the gold. I smiled and said, "Thanks for doing business!"Next was an inn. There, we would rest, then feast.RhobeWhisAs we went to the inn, it seemed oddly quiet, but we still went to bed. It was bright and magic runes floated up in a magical fray. I felt my body want to lay down, as it made me feel even more energized than in the 6 weeks we had traveled across the massive continent. It probably was because I slept on rock for 6 weeks every day, but I felt great! The next day, I went out, and saw a purple mist, it seemed the town was usually covered in this, because no one freaked out wildly, I looked at it and noticed it was similar to clouds. It smelled like strawberries, and we went to a restaurant south of the marketplace. We went and walked into the restaurant, as we talked. When we sat down, they served a mysterious food. They explained that it was a slab of meat, wrapped in crushed wheat, bread and a chicken egg, then cooked. It sounded awful but tasted amazing. I gaped at the flavor. The waitress laughed as we scarfed the stuff down with no break in between bites..I heard someone mutter to a friend,, "I heard about a mansion west of here. I heard that potentially powerful soul based creatures prey on people who go there. There's probably a group of dragon hunters going down, hoping for a juvenile soul dragon or something. I'd bet it's a soul skeleton, they love places like that. But... I doubt there is anything at all."I told Jayko, "Did you hear that, there may a soul creature over at a mansion west of here!"He replied angrily, "There's no way one is there. A famous, retired dragon hunter lives at that mansion. He probably killed the thing in 10 seconds flat."I replied, confused, "How do you know that?"He replied, "I know history, he was famous. He had 1000's of fans across the continent."I said, "Let's investigate anyway. Just in case."We went out of the petite town and went west, the way we went across the continent to begin with. We went and saw the mansion, and there seemed to be no damage.Jayko said, "See? It got killed in seconds."We entered, and saw blood, Human blood. Jayko looked at me terrified, and walked forward. He checked some drawers, nothing. He went upstairs, as a roar echoed through the room."That's the dragon hunter's battle roar. See?"His voice wavered intensely. Then, something turned on the corner. It wasn't the hunter, at least, completely.JaykoI looked and saw a damaged soul mimic. I felt terrified, and sad. I couldn't even speak, but yet, I still pulled my axe. I nearly sobbed in despair, as I saw that it was more humanoid, with an alligator face. Souls whirled around, then coincided at the monster's core. RhobeWhis looked sad, but prepared a fireball. As the souls coincided, it dashed towards me, with blood stained teeth, the size of rats. It charged and caught me with its jaw, the mouth bit me and I felt the pain throb. I felt the heat of a fireball, and then I was released. It charged toward RhobeWhis and then it tried to use a life stealing move called soul siphon as I ignored the pain in my back.I could tell that it had sucked the soul of the hunter, because it looked like the dragon hunter. I dashed in a pure, unrestrained anger, and slammed the axe so hard, the soul siphon stopped, but left RhobeWhis unconscious from the strain of his soul resisting. I had to kill this thing alone. It released the souls it had just absorbed, and I saw that as an opportunity.I slashed him in the mouth, hoping to weaken the jaw, but the jaw was so strong it would take at least 3 hits. The souls fused, as I dashed backwards, angrily. I decided to prepare another attack from that old book. I read it for a long time. I saw it go in to bite me, and I dodged to the left.I hit it in the jaw, powerfully, "Icy Slash!"I saw the jaw was frozen. giving me the time to attack once more. The jaw couldn't open, taking away his bite and soul siphon! I ran in as the souls separated from the  creature, and flew into me. I took damage but I continued running as I was hit rapidly. I reached the jaw and slammed my battle axe into the jaw with most of my remaining strength. Its jaw broke and shattered completely. But, that didn't kill it. It kept launching souls over and over. I slashed the monster, and it immediately knocked the axe out of my hand. The soul Mimic used its souls to swing itself around the room and confuse me, then landed near RhobeWhis.I saw the creature lunged toward RhobeWhis.  I knew I couldn't allow that. I felt strength surge through my arm. The arm swelled large, energy making it far bigger. I slammed the soul mimic with my fist so hard it had fainted completely, so it had died. I saw I created a crater in the wood floors. The mansion was dark, without the souls, and I waited for RhobeWhis to wake up.RhobeWhisI opened my eyes and felt exhausted. I was moving, but that must have been because of Jayko. I looked back and saw Jayko was carrying me. He had brought me back to the Festival town and I stood up.He said to me, "You're awake! Happy to hear it!"I said, "What happened, why did I pass out?"He replied, "The strain of your soul resisting the soul siphon left you unconscious."I replied, "Really? Are you sure? It was enough to knock me out for 5 miles? And, how did you beat it?"Jayko smiled and said, "I broke its jaw, then finished it off with a slash, but even that wasn't enough to kill that demon. It had actually pulled out three new moves while you were out. One I didn't see, but it was a jaw based move that could work while the actual jaw was broken. The other one was soul shot. It shot the souls that it had to deal damage. The third one was using souls as extensions of its body to attack."I replied, "How did you beat it then?"He exclaimed, "Well, I slammed my fist into him because the soul mimic knocked my battle axe out of my hand. I slammed it so hard, that I crushed the creature."We walked into town, Jayko bloody, and I was dirty and tired. We walked to the adventurer's shop, which was in every town and village, and I realized something. Every town or village has a blacksmith, enchant-smith, and general shops, including an adventure shop.Jayko told the shop-keep, "How much for a soul mimic rib?"I gaped at the prospect. I didn't expect him to have grabbed a soul mimic rib. I saw him place down one.The shopkeep replied, "How did you get this?"He replied, "I beat a soul mimic."The merchant replied, "What? Those are rare, and hard to beat, if they sneak up to you, you're as good as dead."I replied, "It had a famous dragon hunter in it, it must have snuck up to it."The shopkeep said, "Really? Then 500g each.""I'll just sell the one please."He gave me the money, then walked to help a customer. We walked out and continued traveling, until we reached the town we would be in for the months, no, years in the future, the main town. This is the end of the beginning.RhobeWhisWe went into the town, as everyone didn't bother to welcome us. I went to the adventurer's guild, in which there was a quest that the man was putting up. It said, someone found a dead soul mimic and another soul mimic. 500g to whoever will kill the other one.I told Jayko, "There was another one? We already killed the dead one on the board. Let's kill the other one."I used teleport to the Festival town.We then walked to the mansion, where I acknowledged my Secret Weapon. I will need to use it.A man was already there. He was inspecting the mansion in complete dragon-scale-mail armor. The second strongest armor possible. We walked in, and made sure we paid attention. A soul shot blasted through the air, I pulled out my Secret Weapon. A gold battlestaff with an emerald tip, and a magic rune flurry swirling around.I cast a move called Flame Pillar. It made flames erupt from below the creature who was dashing toward us, and the flames going to the side came back to the opponent. The creature fused its souls, and then dashed into a bite. Jayko angrily used one more new move. His strongest new move. Night's fury. It left a trail of pure darkness. The damage was insane, the creature tumbled back 10 meters, as we ran forward.I decided to try and use tame, to distract the creature, with the bright light. The light flashed brightly, and a magic bond shackled the creature. I had somehow succeeded. The creature walked up to my side, and sat at that spot like a dog.It was now tamed.I said to Jayko, "I just tamed it!"He gaped, and said, "How?"I said, "I don't know! I got lucky!"We walked, out, and the man from outside, and his companion said, while he called someone over, "Hey, we're going to kill you, then take your bounty."JaykoAs we looked angrily, we saw as they were from a dragon hunting group, a very wealthy and powerful group. All were powerful, of course, but these were more than average. They said mockingly, "Scared?"We would lose I knew we had no chance. But, I wouldn't go down without a fight. I used the eye of time stop, with the sound of ticking raging through time. Then, I tried to take off his armor, not hoping to damage it, but steal it. It happened connected by one strap, by sheer luck, I found it and used it to take off his armor. As time resumed, all that was on the dragon hunter was normal clothes. I ran away with the armor, and took my armor off. The barbarian threw his hulking battle-axe toward me,"Take this!" with no armor on me, so I held out the dragon scale armor hoping to deflect it, and it blocked it, with a roar of energy. it seemed too easy. I put on the armor, and also knotted the clothes to prevent a person taking it off. I threw my old armor, and my battle-axe towards the barbarian, WhisRhobe took advantage, and called his soul mimic on the wizard companion. The barbarian took the hit hard, not blocking, but he managed to get up and start attacking. I clashed, and sparks flew, the loud clangs of steel versus steel echoed forth through the battlefield. I used a smouldering slash to deal more damage to him, damaging his battle axe. Then, he landed a slash on me, knocking me to the floor. He let his guard down as he tried to slam his battle-axe onto me. I took advantage of that and leapt up and hit his face with my knee. It knocked him out and his stuff fell all around, as he disappeared. The wizard yelled, still avoiding the annoying soul mimic. "Knitilia!"He died, and was sent to his last teleported spot. They don't permanently die, they only teleport, to their most recent teleport spot traveled to. The wizard looked pained, then attacked, he dashed forward, sparks coming off him, he dashed in, then, "Boom!" The trees shook around here, the ground trembling. We flew back, weakened, the power of lighting was something not to sneeze at.The wizard boldly used a fireball at both of us, but we masterfully dodged it. He then tried to use icicles, and it shattered on my armor. I barely felt it. He used an icicle at RhobeWhis, which landed, despite the magical shield that RhobeWhis had. He seemed to be extremely powerful. The wizard yelled, "I'll beat both of you I swear it!" He prepared to fight, with revenge in his eyes.

I saw that the wizard used a rain of icicles. The attack went at me. I dodged and heard the shatter of the ice. What was satisfying as kids, now turned bad. "Ironic," I thought to myself.Jayko used night's fury on the wizard, and weakened him a bit. I had to make a shield, and ran to avoid the icicles, I succeeded in avoiding them, but he hit me with a quick fireball. My armor was far too damaged to protect from anything more than a couple hits, so I went on the offensive.I used an icicle at the wizard, then dashed forward and whacked the wizard hard. I then used a bolt of lightning, preparing for a fireball.I then used my full power fireball. It hit hard, and he was knocked into the mansion's brick walls, and he collapsed into the grass. He looked angrily, almost aiming something. Jayko was hit by a move called phantom claw. This was a move that would go behind someone in their movement for 5 seconds (Also known as movement speed. The claw hit him in the back, then knocked him forward. Jayko took advantage of this and used a max power night's fury with the momentum, jabbing it into the head of him with a clunk, and he disappeared too. They left behind 2000g and even the other dragon scale armor. WhisRhobe put the other armor on and we took the great amounts of gold. We went back to the town, no greeting except a murmur here and there. Then we sold our old armor, and their odd loot, then decided to buy a 50 pack of sparkling oranges for 1000g, and an enchant onto each of our weapons. After that, we went to the Local Inn. In the two days until the enchantments were done, Jayko bought a rare type of monster part. I can't imagine what he wanted with it, but it's probably a powerful one. I went into town and took a magic school lecture available for adventurers. It was on fire magic, then, I walked into the room where the teacher stood, getting ready to teach. I walked in, and saw a dwarf, druids, and even barbarians like Jayko. The class started with a lecture on general magic."Magic is formed from the forces and energy from the earth, with that, we learned to alter it, maneuver it, and control those forces. There are many types of magic. Some of these are acid, which is corrosive, known as the poison from creatures which it comes from. Water comes from the water in the air, plants and oceans. Fire comes from the lava and wildfires raging strong. Ice comes from the everlasting glaciers and cold. Electricity comes from lightning and static electricity that shocks the world. Life comes from the plants, trees, and life of all forms. Soul magic is the souls of creatures, which endure the hardships the body goes through.  Light and dark exist in eternal opposition, each defined by the total absence of the other."One of the younger mages in the room asked, almost confused, "What prevents our blood from moving by water magic? Our bones from crushing by stone?"The lecturing teacher said, "We can't prove it for sure, but it seems our soul has magic resistance, and that extends to our body, it basically is a shield from our direct bodies from elemental manipulation."Another hand raised, "Why do soul creatures not have far more resistance to magic?"The teacher said calmly, "They don't use their souls for defense, only offense, plus, the souls of the dead still have some control of each other, and don't do defense, they refuse to help."He then explained, "Fire is a more unique element than others. It consumes, builds, and resets. To understand it is truly challenging, and to truly master it, that secret must be learned by you. First, we head to the training grounds."The training grounds had 50 dummies, each stabbed into the floor, having soot, stains, and... Something. and the flooring was dirt. It was dingy, but acceptable. The teacher said, "Everyone, attempt to use a fireball, if you can't, we have work to do. If you can, improve it. If you improve one fire move, the new fire moves are more masterful, more... Artistic! If you do that, improvement will be massive."I saw the druids try to use a fireball and accidentally send out vines. The barbarians used small embers of a full fireball. The mages used good fireballs, the smell of smoke releasing from the dummies, and, the smell of dew, in the druids case. I used mine, forming the fire forcefully, the fire lightly fought my magic though, and the fireball hit the dummy, blasting an arm off into the metal gates behind the old dummy.I wondered why my fireball resisted me when the teacher said to me, "Impressive. Your fireball is powerful. Odd... Try to figure out the secret, learn it as your own technique."I tried for a while to think the problem out, but an answer refused to be grasped.I kept using my fireballs, changing the size, density, and even making it hotter.I wanted to make an inferno to deal great damage to a large army, but I still can't figure it out.I left the class, with more powerful fire, but the move I want is still too large with the fire fighting me still. The class was instructive. Maybe something will tell me what I need to learn.I learned a lot. I learned Jayko practiced his attacks too. He apparently improved his attack by a significant amount. Finally, the enchantments were done. Jayko got the Looting and Sharpness enchants. I got Magic Control I. We were ready for anything. We talked for a while and decided we should travel to a new town. We unlocked the warp pad so we could teleport here again. The journey moves onward!JaykoWe walked for miles. Further and further until we reached a new town. One that felt friendly, yet mysterious. As we entered town, we decided that we should check for quests. We saw a quest to find new quests for the quest through gossip.I thought to myself, "What are we, info collectors?"Some find a slime quests. I muttered to myselfw, "Boring."Even some people wanting someone to chop down trees in the cursed forest. We saw a fire dragon quest.  Then, I felt excitement strobe through me. Something felt right.I told WhisRhobe calmly, "We're taking this one."WhisRhobe replied angrily, "We can't beat a dragon! If we tried, we'd be crispy adventurers, and dead!"I replied, raising my voice slightly, "Yes, we can beat it."He looked at me like I was insane then said, "Are you insane?!!""Probably."He sighed and said, "Yeah that makes sense. At least let me buy a new artifact."I replied "We need money, why do you think I took the quest? I'm not dumb."He opened his mouth to speak, then he couldn't rebut my point, so we decided to do it.I grabbed the quest and we went out on our next adventure, but first, we activated the teleport pad, and we used it to teleport to the center of the cursed forest, which was the giant's plain. We went to the north, to start searching. After some failure of finding it, we saw a mysterious cave, as a loud roar shook the trees. We saw slimes running away and we ran back a good distance away, then saw the dragon fly from its cave and it breathed fire at us. I felt as if this was right, though. Like this dragon couldn't win. I can't explain it, but, I knew we would win.I felt the heat radiate from the torrent of orange flames, licking the tree side. I smelled smoke already. I yelled over a roar from the dragon, "Crazy or not, we're here now. No turning back."We drew our weapons, then, the dragon glared intensely, the battle started.SlimeBlurble! The dragon blasted flames across the forested area! Then it used a scary slash toward me. I leapt up 20 feet and sent myself flying towards the dragon. I connected, but no damage happened.I was useless and weak. I can't Jayko thought of something, because he said "Take this." I watched as he threw a glob of... of... Golden gel! I instantly leapt towards it and absorbed it. I landed as RhobeWhis used an icicle to attack the dragon using his hand-spells, and I leapt forward, turning into pure gold.I hit it hard, sending it 20 feet back into the wall of a cave nearby, it absolutely damaged it. Jayko charged in and used a night's fury to weaken it, but it was greatly more powerful. His training paid off. The dragon used a fire breath and it looked like it went toward RhobeWhis. He looked mesmerized at the graceful movements of the fire. The attack made something seem to click. He shouted, "Of course! The fire moves like air, don't force it, help it flow!"His eyes turned red as a powerful inferno from RhobeWhis along with gel from poor slimes around the area made it deal many hits on the dragon at great amounts of damage to the left wing, in which the dragon struggled to lift the wing at this point. The dragon was now preparing a flame breath.I watched as it aimed the torrent of flames at Jayko and he ran to the side hoping to dodge. And he barely did. I dashed forward and attacked it again. The breath accidentally was knocked toward RhobeWhis, so he was in the line of the flame breath. He prepared a shield, but not fast enough. I leapt as gold to block it to buy him some time. I blocked it for two seconds when he was ready. He blocked with a magical shield and Jayko grabbed the wing of the dragon and flung himself up.He attacked the dragon on the top of his head and it roared weakly. It slashed Jayko hard, knocking him out instantly. Then, it used a fallible dive to break RhobeWhis's shield and significantly weaken him. However, the onslaught I used wasn't done. I found fire gel around the area from the inferno and I absorbed it. I'm NOT done yet.I absorbed the flame gel and burst into flames with a loud "Fwoosh!" The dragon began to attempt to get higher than I could jump. It, unfortunately succeeded as RhobeWhis attempted to use icicles to hit the dragon. They shattered on touch. It didn't do anything. The dragon was very angry at this point, and it was preparing to attack repeatedly until we lost.I can't use my finisher... That means the dragon will win if I don't figure something out. RhobeWhis tried to use a powerful bolt of electricity to the dragon's leg to make it spasm and make it fall from the high hill it climbed up. The attack landed, and everything worked according to plan. Until, the monster got its grip back and used flame breath at RhobeWhis once again.I saw as he started to panic, and barely made a magical shield. I looked over to the area where Jayko was, worried the flames would hit him. He wasn't there. Jayko appeared leaping up to the forehead of the dragon. He leapt up again, preparing an icy slash, and he slammed the axe straight into the head, making a crown of ice around the forehead. The dragon was knocked down to the bottom of the lightly wooded plains, then I leapt up, 150 feet by breathing flames as added propulsion. I then used it to propel myself downward into the dragon, and 20 feet into the rocky floor. The battle was over. We had defeated a dragon.Author's note                                                                                                                                 The double attack was a desperation move only done by bosses.Author's boss list:14) Mechalislime

No wonder they are rare.JaykoI walked out to WhisRhobe, who was sighing in relief that we beat it. I told him to teleport us to the town we came here from. We teleported to the town. Of course, I was weak and went to get some magical healing. WhisRhobe, however, practiced making magical shields far faster, then went to take another class on average magic control and power, when I was healed, I looked at the quest board.I muttered silently, "Gossip, boring. Dragon quest, I'd be crazy. Chopping wood? Good swing training is not too intense in terms of exertion."I took the chopping wood quest, and got the rewards from the dragon quest. 2000g! I gaped at the money. WhisRhobe came over to me at that second. He saw the money and shrugged, "You want to go to the blacksmith and gem store?"I thought about it, because when you add a gem, it empowers an element. When you learn about something it gets far more powerful. So, if I put on a sapphire, it would be dark and water. Ruby would be fire and light. Diamonds would be all elements. Clear crystal, a relatively common crystal empowers light and dark.I decided to get a diamond, for 400g a large sum for a large unpolished diamond. I went to the blacksmith and asked him to work on making a four point star shape made of the diamond on my battle axe. He told us to wait a day and come back. He would be done by then.True to his word, we came back with a diamond infused battle axe done. He charged us 600g for the process and making. The design was apparently 100g alone. We went back to the cursed forest to go to the chopping wood area we needed to go to.The man there yelled, eagerly, "You're ready to chop wood?"It turned out that he had a forest behind his house that was intensely thick. I broke through a lot by using my attacks, and put an entire tree in my endless pockets. After that, I went to the guy. He had one more favor."My friend lives in that shack," he pointed to a rustic shack by his, "His house has a trapdoor into a labrinth, and he went to map it and he never came back, can you see if he is okay? I'm getting lonely."I replied at the same time as WhisRhobe, "Sure!"I would barely live to regret that.RhobeWhisWe went into the winding hallways, that seemed to go forever. The wall seemed to be made of reinforced sandstone. The reinforcing material was curious. Black, and extremely tough. We turned left and started to talk to Jayko."What do you think of this... Creepy, huh?"Jayko responded, "I swear I heard some scratching, like claws against the floor. But it's very faint... Only in earshot close to the walls."We walked forward, and we turned left, we had a mutual agreement to always turn left if there is no way to define which way is better.I kept studying the curious substance that reinforced the walls. It seemed to react to light, barely though, it was from a living thing. The cells still were alive, and hated light. What I theorized to be a skin or a hide, would bend back. It must be from a dark creature. We turned again. The scratching Jayko had mentioned was now always audible. We were getting closer. A chill rose up my back like an omen to something; It wasn't good.I dashed forward, and Jayko followed. The labyrinth was long and winding, but we were strong and durable.I told Jayko, "You know, I realized we hadn't talked about our adventures. Which one do you want to talk about first?"Jayko responded briskly, "The first soul mimic. It was not very fun, but I gained much strength. I think it will help me get a new strength. We will get more powerful too."I told him, "We keep getting stronger, but... We can always get stronger. It's simple. Train and explore. Get experience, get more tactical use. We keep getting stronger that way. That's why we beat a dragon.Jayko said, "I agree." He smirked, "We did beat a dragon. With our strength we earned. We will become stronger. But, also back to the soul mimic, it scared me, that the soul mimic was strong enough to knock you out."I responded, agreeing, "It is, but we have improved enough to beat one. Indefinitely."We turned again, the scratches almost searing in our ears.It got darker, I realized, "Magical darkness... that feels like it won't get brighter."Jayko responded, "I have one question. How did you make an inferno?"I retorted, proudly, "I image trained while learning about fire magic. But, I couldn't actually do it until I figured out the secret to do it.""Heh, I should try that. Get a new move."I heard a very loud roar echo through the continually winding labyrinth. Another chill rose up my spine. The scratching came closer. I made a magical shield, but, I heard the scratches pass me in seconds. These creatures were running.

JaykoWe walked forward, confidently and strongly. However, No amount of confidence could prepare us for what lies ahead. We saw that the darkness was overwhelming. RhobeWhis used a sphere of light to illuminate the room so you could barely see, and I gave my slime another gel I found.  Light gel. The slime illuminated, and I told it to wrap around my head like a headlamp. It obeyed happily and made a blurble sound. We heard another roar. We saw the Shadow beast was in front of us, and I charged into a Smouldering slash. It connected, but didn't do anything but barely pierce the hide. RhobeWhis used a rain of icicles. He must have learned from the fight against the other wizard. It only left a bruise on the thick skin. The Shadow Beast used a monstrous roar, able to shake the earth. A darkness wave hit us hard, enough to cause concern, even through our armor, it hit hard. We went towards it, planning Night's fury on the hellish beast, while RhobeWhis used fireballs and so did my slime. The attack made it try to use a large amethyst claw to impale me, but, I barely dodged. If I get hit by that, I'll be knocked unconscious, or worse. I dashed forward once again, hoping to use a basic fireball as well. I succeeded, and we noticed that it had started dashing around the room at mach speeds, it used some darkness wave, but aimed at one of us, it was almost impossible to block, so I opted for damage.I used my Javelin to ensure damage and to burn him, which seemed to be an effective way to deal damage. Strategy would be key to winning. I dashed forward once again and threw the ruby-tipped javelin, and it pierced halfway through the hide. I saw it stopped for a moment, now on the ceiling, and The beast roared with another wave of darkness, and then continued the onslaught of attacks.I felt a hit, another darkness blast hit me straight into the chest, making me out of breath. RhobeWhis used another sphere of light, then it seemed like they came up with an idea. One that would change the tide of the battle.Soul MimicMy master seemed to be focusing. Even through the monster's blasts towards him and hitting him. I tried to use soul siphon on the beast and it sucked out some of the souls of creatures he killed. As I tasted the delicious morsels of souls, I thought, cow, human, skeleton, slime, SOUL SKELETON!!!That is a major boost my ever increasing strength. My power was enough. I ran towards the shadow beast and bit him, and it roared throughout the cave. Stalactites rained from above. However, most of them hit the shadow beast. It roared even louder. Now aiming the sound above us. This was an extremely smart creature. I unlatched my large jaw and saw that Jayko slashed the stalactites with ease, protecting Jayko, but one was going to directly hit him. I tried to mold the souls I have and latch onto it and yank it into the shadow beast. It landed, then the shadow beast seemed merely annoyed.I thought, trying to figure out what would work, but I realized. My master's analytical nature rubbed off on me! I thought and thought, and realized, I screeched loudly, trying to signal to use light as a move against it.Jayko was confused, but RhobeWhis told me, "Way ahead of you buddy."He continued to charge up immense power of light and fire, almost seeping out of his body and being released from his veins. His eyes suddenly turned red, as opposed to his normal blue it had two circles with a dot in the middle.Jayko yelled, "No! You can't hit it, it's going too fast!"RhobeWhis ignored him, and I was worried, but he continued. Forming the large mass of energy into a combined ball five times the size of a kickball, and it followed the unholy creature closely. RhobeWhis was preparing. Waiting for the moment to strike. I shot a large soul shotgun blast to hit it.The shadow beast stopped suddenly, and I shot 5 souls at the hulking beast. Nothing could stop him now. My master sent the beam downward, sending the beam straight through the body and impaling the creature, sending a hole in the monster. It went so fast, the attack sent a shock-wave from the light speed attack. The shadow beast roared even more, sending 3 waves of intense darkness at us.The beast looked at us angrily. And it didn't look like it was calming down soon.RhobeWhisI saw as the shadow beast attacked us again. And Jayko yelled, "You know, this battle really makes me feel empowered. I've been charging this power for a long time. Since the start of the battle, even. It feels like my spirit is manifesting itself and pouring out, like it has nowhere to go."I gaped in realization. He had been charging this whole time. But for what? He started to release the ever-growing spirit, and then, it rested just outside his body. It looked uncomfortable, however, his muscles looked bigger and his strength increased from the spirit surrounding him.He ran to the beast and used a night slash. But, his strength was so much, he was able to double slash. He continued the onslaught, not letting the shadow beast deal more damage or run.He kept dealing more damage, and he went up-slash, right-slash down-slash up-slash. Over and over again. But then, he got tired, and had to stop.As soon as the onslaught ended abruptly, the monster roared, sending all of us into the walls of the cave. I saw as Jayko's weird form ended. It must end when he takes damage. The shadow beast used a powerful pierce on me. And I went unconscious.SlimeI'm taking over since RhobeWhis was unconscious at the time. Blurble!Jayko continued trying to deal damage, for 2 minutes, but, the shadow beast still didn't budge. He called it there. We lost. Jayko grabbed RhobeWhis and tried to run, but the shadow beast blocked the way out, spitefully. He tried to have me use a fireball, but that didn't work either my fireball did nothing. None of the attacks would make it budge. Jayko had an idea. He attempted to use a flash of light, to blind it, then run. When he did, the flash of light was so bright, I, without eyes, made a blurble sound in reaction. Jayko ran, even in his spirit form and escaped, by the skin of our teeth, now seeing the bright forest side with the cave overhang. The shadow beast chased after us, Blurble! But, time suddenly stopped. An angel came down from the heavens, thinking it was the sign of a wish.It said with an angelic voice, "What wish would you like?"Jayko said it earnestly, without thinking, "Enchant my battle axe with a powerful enchantment, dreamt to all."The angel said, "Your wish has been granted."It soared back up to the heavens, Blurble!Time resumed. The shadow beast was chasing us angrily, when Jayko decided to do one more clutch spell, as a last resort. He attempted to cast invisibility. He somehow succeeded again. I knew that that wouldn't happen again, but he dashed away, escaping, ending with a loss. But, we would be back. And we were gonna be ready then.Author's note. The shadow beast used a desperation moveAuthor's note 2; The flash of light and invisibility 2 1d20s in a row and both were 20.(The battle of the second shadow beast is done. We won overwhelmingly.)

1) Quinn The Earth Shaker
Entry: He is a blacksmith with a surprisingly light voice. He is clearly a former adventurer and even has better reflexes the the best, as he leapt up and hit the shadow beast before I dashed with my Gobilant out of harms-way; he also must be Lv. 6, because he has 150 Hp. He has a large battle-axe with devastaing capabilities and wondrous strength and enough to use earth-quaking without the actual enchantment. Something tells me he was a barbarian.
Profession: Blacksmith and Former Adventurer.
Species: Human
2) The Enchantsmith
Entry: A Hardworking Lv. 1 Enchantsmith who seems to have severe sleep deprivation. Someone needs to be worried about his survival, but, he always seems to be covered in some sort of magical soot. He always is working on something, and even blows up every time we come in. He's close to Lv. 2.
Profession: Enchantsmith
Species: Human
3) The Potion Creator
Entry: A genius potion inventor. He seems to be a seasoned warrior, given the power of his sun slash, and experience with battling shown against me. He has dragon robes, but is a bit cocky. We now have access to level 2 potions such as moon and sun potions, because of my triumph against him in battle.
Profession: Potion Making and Selling
Species: Human
4) The Goblin Gobbler
Entry: He is a small but really smart--for his kind at least, and hunts his own ores with digging claws. I hope I can convince him and the blacksmith to work together. He's skittish, but he helps provide great insight on why goblins hate us. According to him, the goblin king has them brainwashed by lack of information. Because he's skittish, we'll have to travel some more before we find the creature. His friends are hostile against humans.
Profession: Basic Blacksmith
Species: Goblin
